Baptism
Baptism is a wonderful and powerful step in our journey with God. In obedience, we take a step of faith by being baptized in water as an outward sign of the inward work Jesus is doing in us. It declares that you are a follower of Jesus Christ. It is a public confession of your faith in, and commitment to, Jesus Christ. It is the next step after surrendering your life to Jesus, asking for forgiveness, and following him. It is an important foundation for the Christian life. As followers of Christ, we follow the example and command of Jesus in Baptism.
It is a symbol of your new life as a Christian. We bury the ‘old life’ and we rise to walk in a ‘new life’. Baptism is like a wedding ring, it is the outward symbol of the commitment you made in your heart, a commitment that is to be followed through and lived out on a daily basis.

Connection Luncheon
Learn more about Life Church, who we are, what we believe, and how you can connect. We have Connection Luncheons scheduled between 4 and 5 times a year. This is an opportunity to connect with others, meet our leadership team, and find out a little more about Life Church. If you are newer to Life Church, just visiting, or haven't had the chance to be part of one of our connection luncheons, we would love for you to join us for this catered lunch. Giving
Giving is a part of what we do at Life Church. We want to be a generous church serving God and others. This essential discipline is both liberating and full of blessings. Stewarding what God has given us is an important next step in your journey. Click here for opportunities to give.
Serving
Both inside the church and in our community and world. One of the ways we grow in God is by serving him in ways He calls us to. As a church we do regular outreaches to our community but also right here at Life Church. There are many ways for you to serve and make a difference in your life. (Our ministry fair on February 28th will be a great start.) Otherwise you can choose from one of the areas on our connection card that you see in your bulletin on Sunday mornings.
Invite and Share
We at Life Church believe God has called us to be the light of the world. We want to show and share His love with those in our everyday path of life. We encourage you to begin to pray who God will open up doors or opportunities that you can share God's love with and then invite them to join you at a service. Our Kindness Card is a great tool for inviting others as well as simply just showing others that God loves them unconditionally. Click here for that tool.
JOURNEY TO BECOME
Take Your Next Step. At Life Church we believe in simplicity and we don’t want to clutter people’s schedule with a lot of busyness so we intentionally offer a clear pathway for spiritual growth. We call this pathway The Journey to Become. We want to help people take their next step with God and move forward in life
The Journey To Become is an ongoing course offered every four to six weeks and is made up of three classes, or steps, that you can take. They happen on three consecutive weeks. The next series of classes begin right after our second service 12:00 and last about 1 hour.
stepONE: BELIEVE which is about KNOWing God! It is all about what it means to have a real relationship with God and the steps we take know Him personally.
stepTWO: BELONG which is about how we GROW in God! It teaches how we grow spiritually and what it means to be part of the church.
stepTHREE: BECOME which is about DISCOVERing your gift and MAKING A DIFFERENCE in the world! It helps you discover how God has uniquely designed and gifted you to serve him and be on mission with Jesus.
Whether you’re new to Life Church or you have been here for years, we believe everyone should take this step. If you have already started the classes then sign up for the steps you need to take to complete it. If you’re new just start steps and complete it as you can.

Scripture
Take time reading and allow God to speak to you. Look for a verse that speaks to you and write it down.
Observe
What do you think God is saying to you in the scripture. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and reveal Jesus to you. Paraphrase and write the scripture down in your own words.
Application
Personalize what you have read, by asking yourself how the scripture can apply to you today.
Prayer
This can be as simple as asking God to help you use the scripture, or it may be a greater insight on what He may be revealing to you. Remember, prayer is a two way conversation, so be sure to listen to what God has to say and write it down.
Giving is a part of what we do at Life Church. We want to be a generous church serving God and others. As you give, we get to make a difference down the street, across the border, and around the world. God asks us to test Him in this area to give, and to give cheerfully.
360 Giving is a group of fully committed individuals and families who prayerfully commit to give, over and above their tithes to extend the Kingdom of God to those in need. We support foreign missions and missionaries, invest in planting churches, as well as local community mercy ministries. The goal began with a challenge of 30 people/families giving $30 a month to make a 360 degree change. Join us in trusting God with your generosity through 360 Giving as we change the world. Kindness Card Ideas
There is no doubt that small things done with great love can change the world. A random act of kindness with no strings attached is a great way to show the love of Jesus to those around us.
Who doesn't like to be given a free cup of coffee on a cold day? Especially by someone who is smiling, happy and having fun. This type of servant evangelism wins the heart before it confronts the mind. A small act of kindness nudges a person closer to God, often in a profound way.
Here are some "random acts of kindness" ideas. You'll hear responses like, "Oh, thank you!" "This is so nice!" "I can't believe this is for free!" and, "Why are you doing this?"
With each act, leave the little card with them to let them know that God loves them. Kindness builds the bridge for the person to receive a touch of love from God. It's simple, practical, effective, inexpensive, and fun!
